Senior Pastor: G. Keith Maxwell

Pastor Keith and Donna Maxwell joined the Easton Church of God family in October of 2006. They have two children: Christina and Josh. Pastor Maxwell has been pastoring since 1981. He has held numerous positions in the Church of God. He has served as a pastor, police chaplain and district pastor. He has been elected to several state youth and Christian education boards and  state councils. He has worked in youth camps since 1978. Their genuine love for people is evident in their interaction with them. He is a dynamic and powerful speaker. His hobby is people. Together Pastor Keith and Donna Maxwell are an excellent example of a married couple and ministry team.

Youth Pastor: David Shawyer

Church Treasurer: Wanda Shawyer

Pastor Dave and Wanda joined the Easton Church of God family in April of 2001. However, youth ministry is not new to them, as they have been ministering to young people since 1988.
Pastor Dave and Wanda have been married since 1985 and have three children: Joshua, Kara, and Jordan.
Their philosophy for ministry is based on the belief that building relationships with those they minister to is vital. Encouraging and equipping the youth of today is of the utmost importance if they are to have a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ.  If you are not involved in an active youth group, we invite you to join us.

FTH Director: Dwayne Dixon

Rev. Dwayne and Donna joined the Easton Church in September of 1998. Bro. Dwayne has been Youth Pastor, FTH Director and Christian Education Director (CE) prior to coming to Easton. They have been in ministry for over thirty years.
They have one son Daryl, his wife Karena. Dwayne and Donna feel that they have three of the most beautiful granddaughters in the world. Vanessa, Maci, and Chloe.

Praise & Worship Leader: Doug Whitter

Born and raised in Missouri, Doug met his wife, Debbie, at Lee University in Cleveland, TN. After their marriage in 1973, they moved to the eastern shore. Doug teaches middle and high school grades at Chesapeake Christian school where Debbie is the principal. Both have been involved in some facet of Christian education for most of their adult lives and have been members of the Church of God since childhood. God blessed their marriage with two daughters: Emmy and Abby.

Church Secretary: Kelsey Martinez

Kelsey is a product of a strong Christian family. She was born and raised in the Easton Church of God. She is the 5th generation of her family in our church. She not only serves as the church secretary but she and her husband, Pito, also serve as FTH teachers and youth board members. Her love for the Lord is evident in her daily life. She is a graduate of Chesapeake Christian School, class of 2004 and she is now attending college to receive a teaching degree.

He began his evangelistic ministry at age 15 and attained his exhorter’s license in the Church of God at age 17.  At age 26, he received the License of Ordained Bishop.  Donna and he met at Lee University and agreed that God’s Ministry would be their vision as a team.  They were married in 1980 and evangelized for 1½ years.  They began pastoral ministry in 1981 and have enjoyed 25 fruitful years.   The Lord has instilled much music in their souls.  Donna is an accomplished pianist and he enjoys leading the church in worship music.  She has managed the music program in several churches when needed and he has personally directed several Easter and Christmas cantatas.  Donna always stays closely involved in the Women’s Ministries and Girls’ Clubs of the church.  She has previously served on the State Women’s Ministries Board and the State Girls’ Clubs Board.
